Juneteenth is a special day for anyone who believes in freedom and equality for all people. Join us for amazing music, delicious soul food, craft booths, kids' activities, and a basketball skills contest. This year we have a series of events leading up to our annual celebration.
LIBERATION PADDLE OUT
Sunday, June 13th at Cowell's Beach
Black Surf Club Santa Cruz will be organizing a Liberation Paddle Out on Saturday, June 13th as a pre-celebration event for Juneteenth. The theme is Liberation in the Outdoors.
Saturday, June 19th at 8 am at Wilder Ranch
We'll meet in the parking lot at Wilder Ranch at 7:45 am.
We won't be hiking the entire time. Part of the time but we will be in circle and meditation. Please bring something to sit on, pen/pencil, paper or journal, water and dress appropriately.
BASKETBALL SKILLS CHALLENGE
